MWC, Co-Founder

• MWC is a grassroots initiative dedicated to promoting storytelling in the Muslim American community. Our signature event, a monthly open mic, has been running since January 2014, in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and six other cities, drawing thousands of attendees and hundreds of first time performers - poets, journalists, comedians, musicians. We've been featured in VICE, the Guardian, Buzzfeed, the Daily Beast, and more. ​
